Best Holiday!

One of the best holiday experiences was last summer. Because I rested a lot, went out with friends, I traveled and spent several weeks alone at home. 

One of the places I liked to be was Tongoy, in Coquimbo. In January we went there with my friends Nadia and Cristian. He took us to his childhood home, where we stayed for nine days. The weather that  week was very nice, in the morning and during the day it was hot, and at night it was windy and not very cold. 

I remember that the first day we went to the “caleta de pescadores”. There we bought ceviche from Cristian’s aunt. Then we went to the beach and spent the whole afternoon there. Tongoy is a small commune and I liked that a lot. I found it cozy, as well as its landscape, which is a valley, cactus and beaches.

  

                                                                       

We visited four beautiful wetlands in the bay, “Salina Grande”, “Salina Chica”, “El Litre” and “Pachingo”. The latter was the most extensive, where we saw many birds, flowers and shells in the sand. We also went for a walk in La Serena, just one night, we walked a lot and ate completos. 

The best thing about the trip was that our vacation routine was calm. We swam in the sea during the day, watched the sunset, then went to the “carruseles” in the center, and ended up at the house hanging out, drinking beers and listening to music.
